I could never get the hang of syllables. Stupid, i know! Ask me to find the derivatives of simultaneous quadratic equations using irrational fractions or something stupid like that and i'll do it at the drop of a hat, but i just could never get the basics of English Langage down!

Im better at French than English actually!

Ditto here unfortunately. I can tell you the pluperfect subjunctive of to go in Spanish but in English I haven't got a clue...

d/dx ( -3x^3 + 4x^2 - 3x -23)

Sorry.

Correct

Here's another 1 for you all.........

The longest word in the English language with only one vowel (and the vowel is only used once, so no cheating  ) has 9 letters. It also does not contain the letter "y" (or at least the one I'm thinking of doesn't).

Any ideas ??

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

wierd thing is when i read this i remembered typing 8x when i did the previous post. wierd that when i look at it it's different. in my head i got it right at least, it just didn't translate through my hands (yeah, i like that excuse!)

cryptology, cryptography etc... basically: code breaking, and making!

edit: cryptography would be the making/breaking
cryptology would be the study of them (er, i think)

I know how you feel. I very often mean to go and tidy something up or something, and come back with a pack of cards and a beer, having forgotten to tidy that thing up! Or accidentally find myself in the pub...
