Hmmmm... there seems to be a common misconception that this effect can't be done with a borrowed coin...

Well, it can. Although, nice large coins like a 10p are better than small ones due to the visual aspect.

In fact, aside from coins, you can vanish/reappear other objects too.

Dave, I take it you've not been into magic long enough to realise that a 'gimmicked' trick doesn't mean that the trick can't be a PDF, or video tutorial.

If Paul Harris's Art of Astonishment series came with all the necessary gaffs and gimmicks, you'd need a toolshed to keep it all in!

So, to answer:
1. This effect IS downloadable
2. It requires a gimmick, which is constructed in less than 30 seconds
3. You may need to make a purchase to complete the effect
4. You can be performing within 10 minutes of download, IF you have the required materials to construct the gimmick

And in the future, be mindful that just because an effect is a DOWNLOAD, it doesn't mean that you may not have to put a little work into constructing a gimmick or gaff to be able to perform it.

If you buy the Gone dvd,
Does it come with the gimmick?

As I've ordered a bunch of tricks from different sites,
And it would be really, really awkward if I had to buy something else.

As I doubt I have the right materials, etc. to make this gimmick.

P.S.

I figured out Revolution by watching the Ellusionist demo.
I was very disappointed with it, as it looks really obvious on what/where the coins going/been vanished to.
Yes, you can show your hands completely clean and impromptu,

But it fails miserably to impress me. :?

(If I did something wrong in the above, mods please edit it as I don't want this to be sent to the sin bin)
