Did you buy the booklet in the end? I think that pretty much gives you an alternative way of doing the dirty (to use a less revealing term). I bought it but don't perform it, not really to my style so can't be of much advise but I recommend checking in the booklet for alternative tips and ideas.

A match or lighter can work wonders. Those are my choices anyway, but I haven't performed that trick in years.

Won't the can explode because of the pressure if you hold a lighter too close to it?

Do you mind if I ask who "they" are?

sounds like someone's selling dodgy copies again, i would be careful who you buy off. Try to get one from a known dealer.

See! The perils of Ebay. This is why I always recommend sticking to a reputable online dealer.

It should be a proper illustrated booklet. Be careful of ebay

I've always used a match or lighter for this effect and never had a can explode on me (Rest of text deleted by Mods - a bit too helpful, sorry  )

I've always done the trick with the original handling seeing as how I'm only a junior, and I don't exactly have a lighter handy.

But I have had people spot, the gaff involved, and I have had difficult set-up using the gaff. So I might try the lighter presentation next time.

Healed and sealed

Postby Bunford » Sep 5th, '06, 14:37

Whenever i pull this off i always always always use a lighter or a match. (Text deleted by Mods for same reason as above. There are other threads about H&S which already cover all this ground so please be careful of going into such detail in an open Forum - thanks)
