How about something about the history of magic and biographies of various magicians David Blaine, Criss Angel etc and a list of books/dvds for someone who wants to learn more about magic.

Whatever you do, make sure it's accessible. No flash-only sites. They may win you prizes for design, but, in the real world, sites should be designed to be read by people with all sorts of problems.

Not that this is a particular hobby-horse of mine, oh no

That sounds good. Will you let us see it when you've done it?

*cough*sankeymagic*/cough*

I hate that site, Flashblock blocks it every time! And it would be EASIER to use without the stupid mouseovers.

Ahem

for jays site when you are new to it and it work it seems like a "cool" site but after a while it just gets irritating to wait for so long to go to anything.
