It's a pity that EckoZero isn't still hosting his radio show - we could have all logged in and requested these tunes, one after the other  !

A few years ago I was doing car maintenance at night school and went to the end of term Christmas Party & Disco - the place was full of greasy mechanics and so on all glugging away on the free beer. The 'DJ' started up and promised us all a great night of hot music then played the bl**dy Smurf Song followed by the Birdie Dance. The room emptied faster than if the Fire Alarm had gone off  .

Oooooh, lovely. I feel a rant coming on!

I've been moved to ask "what the hell's that noise?" about a lot of current rap. Why put a decent bit of TR-808 work at the bottom, then a loop on top that doesn't fit, some backing singer that doesn't fit anything overdubbed horribly to make the whole thing muddy, a terribly twee little riff that loops around a single 4/4 bar, then a bloke shouting nonsense over it - all completely out of time? I grew up listening to some truly dreadful punk, but not one bit of it came close to being this bad.

And, ladies, after 40 years of radical feminism, is being a "ho" in a rap video really where it's at? "My Lumps", Fergie? Well, love, you've got two massive ones right there in your cranium. Use them, why not...

As if by magic, illegal raves are back on the agenda (yay!). Turns out that kids don't like being told what to like after all, but just want to stand in a big field and dance like maniacs, never bothering to wonder ifit's cool or not to be seen in the right haircut.

And why are there so many over-styled bands coming out called "The <insert adjective here>"? It's as bad as McDonald's using the present progressive tense in that annoying slogan of theirs.

where's me bondage kecks and mohair sweater. I'm off down the offy for some Special Brew then up the town hall for a damned good pogo at a real gig! (Damn, that was nearly 30 years ago...)

I would have requested System of a Down because theyre one of my favourite bands!

Now, the worst song ever......My Blobby...... Is this the way to Amarillo?...... Bob the Builder...... the Big Brother theme tune

Any and all of those get my vote!

I was born with Multiple Personality Disorder. Luckily, they are all me, they just dont always get along...

TOTALLY disagree. System Of A Down are amazing, they'll be splitting up soon though.

I Think that any music mccabe listens to is rubbish :D

Don't you just hate those novelty kids songs that are strategically released a week before christmas so they are doomed to become christmas number one?
