BUYER BEWARE!

Postby Craig Browning » Sep 10th, '06, 13:55

The following was posted at another Mentalist Only forum but I'm sharing the original post along with my follow-up so word gets out to everyone to WATCH OUT for this jerk.

hi whats up everyone. has anyone bought the secret Black OPS Hypnosis course from Taylor Starr? The website is www.undergroundhypnosis.com Keith barry did Black Ops Hypnosis in all of his specials. I would like to hear any of your comments and responses on Black Ops Hypnosis. Also do you think it really works?

All of his specials?

He's only done one that I'm aware of...

Let's cut to the chase... It's a Dave Dee styled Gorilla pitch letter roughly six printed pages long and filled with link opportunities for quick purchase. Like a certain Station Manager document a few years ago, it is full of Secret Societies and covert fellowships as well as deeply guarded occult mysteries.

The clown in question claims to have 3,400+ people chomping at the bit to buy this $100.00 (well, $97.00 download) and yet, he's offering it as a spam sell via the handful of Mentalism & Magic forums he can get into FOR TODAY ONLY (he has the right to pull the plug on the sell anytime he wishes after 9/10/06).

Oh! (you'll love this part) You learn the secret to making $15,000.00 a night every night of the week, doing a hyp act... I'm certain Jerry Valley & Friends would've loved to have known about this tightly guarded secret...

If this isn't another Jonathon Royal hustle then he has an evil twin out there launching into a very stupid game. Given that the opening lines to the "pitch" read; "The Astonishing Secrets Of The Most Respected ...Most Knowledgeable ...And Most Dangerous Hypnotist In The World!" Then introduces us to a guy named Taylor Starr (anyone? Anyone know who this might be? He's world famous and the best hypnotist on earth...) Well, it certainly sounds like it has something to do with our little friend JR

By the way... the first page you go to in the above post, is a mailing list generator asking for your email address and name before you can enter the "secret" area when you are confronted with the big pitch and rather deep pile O'Shitte.

I get emails sent to me from "Taylor Star" stating the exact same stuff. The last one said that black ops agents are watching me(yeah right) and he will be in contact soon apparently. I have never sent any money and never will either as I know for a fact this is a scam. It has the scam feel to it all over I just hope noone else has been tricked by them.

I heard a rumour that JR is saying the guy who wrote this is an ex student of his. I also heard that JR is telling people it's awful and they should all buy his package instead (there's a surprise).

Maybe it isn't Mr Royale afterall.

It's not JR... I was informed from a reliable source that this guy isn't even involved in magic or hypnotisml. He's a professional Internet Product Hustler that that compiles copyright free materials into "study courses" and hypes them. He lives within blocks of Dave Dee e.g. the style of the pitch rings true with my assumptions. He's also involved with a few other known scams and scammers but it's all in the name of reeling in the Internet-based suckers and relieving them of their cash.

Unfortunately, there's a lot of it about in the world of hypnosis.
