I thank you!

No need to feel old at 40, Tomo. Apparently 50 is the new 40, so I guess that means 40 is the new 30.... so happy 30th birthday mate!

Happy birthday to you both

Join the club 40 by the way :? - I was 40 in March

27 years old eh ?? Oh well I thought I was doing okay with my missus being 34 years old. Hmm.... time to get the Exchange and Mart out and look for a newer model

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

On our 30th Wedding Anniversary 5 years ago, my ever-loving arranged for us to renew our Wedding Vows. Nobody told me they'd expired......

Tee hee.

Thanks everyone. Thanks , Delude, for the Italian plumber!

Back from stage one of operation Birthday. The pub brought out cake, candles and cheeseboard. Very nice.

Now for stage two... the CUPS phase

Hurricane bashed Welshie is back!

NUMS has over 35 orders since I was away, even tho I 'shut shop'. So once the backlog is cleared, doors will be open!

As for hurricanes, Cuba was great—solid 35-40°c weather (98% humidity though!) every day, few tropical storms, but they last 10 - 20 mins max.

Flew through a hurricane over Bermuda on the way home yesterday, plane was like a ping-pong ball in a tumble drier for 2 hours. Horrible! A woman on the plane had a stroke—so we were diverted to Shannon airport, then Gatwick, then Manchester. Journey flight time should have been 8.5 hours, and actually took more like 16. So, until I recover from the shock of marriage, near-death plane rides and turbulence, exhaustion and jet-lag, the shop may run a bit behind!

Nice to be back tho, and have a proper cup-o-tea and eat without having to ward off flies :o)
