That much? I'm lucky I got hold of it almost as soon as it came out then!

Some of the bonus routines on Inside Your Mind are really interesting: there's another rapport thing with the dinner party guests where Derren did the PIN number effect, a beautiful routine where he dances with an old dear and discovers the identity of a small item she was asked to think of. There's also an extended routine on lying, which is quite good. Each of these has audio commentary also, which explains part of how it's done. The lying routine is explained in most detail, and is effectively similar to the same information on the Channel 4 website.

I bought this book the other day, and hardly put it down for a few hours! I only bought it because i saw a poster outside WHSmith which said 'He knows you want it' and i just got it! Excellent book so far, only read the first couple of chapters mind! I love his writing style, its very down to earth and funny!

I was born with Multiple Personality Disorder. Luckily, they are all me, they just dont always get along...

This book was one of my christmas prezzies and I'm glad it was!

Nice easy read, funny when it needs to be and not written in a "I'm better than you" way.

Nice work Derren.

Only just arrived! That's the longest I've ever had to wait from play.com!

Ah well at least it's here. I've read the first couple of pages and it's really good!

Unfortunately I finished TOTM last night, :( and I'm left wanting to read more. I think Derren is witty and insightful and asks the reader to reason why we do the things we do.

Absolutely superb. Unfortunately now though, I have quite a few books to choose from to read next.

I have Derrens Pure Effect, but also, People Watching, How to read a Person like a Book, The Book of Tells, NLP for beginners (etc..etc..)

I think I am going for Pure Effect, but I'm a little hesitant as I know it will probably be more than a mortal like me can understand *gulp*.

But I'll try. 8) :D

For body language, definitely People Watching... it's a classic book, if not a little absolutising.

I'm onto the memory section! I'm loving it!

It has to be one of the best books I've read in ages!
