During the gig I did t'other night (my first in fact, see miscellaneous) I asked a lady to drop a coin into my pocket. Now imagine the scene as I sit between her and her husband and she rummages around for a good 30 seconds in my trousers before removing her hand with the coin still in it. Everyone looked a bit startled then someone pipes up 'Why have you still got the coin?' She says 'I thought you said to check your pocket'. General relief all round. Goes to show what a spec will do if you tell them in an authoritative manner though!
