Any how before some started talking about Factorys, awarding people and stuff. The question was asked about rumber cement. I have no idea why people say this forum goes off topic! While other magic forums dont.

Basicaly get a puntcher repire kit. you get a nice litte box some plastic things and such like might come in handy...There topic on track.

Chickity China The Chinese Chicken. Have A Drumstick and Your Brain Starts Crickin

U Have??

Seriously though, RC in a TT.. home made small container..

If you dont have a TT use a bottle cap or something.. Of course Ive never tried it I just walk round with a big RC tub and a paintbrush but sure a tt might work to hold it.. try it.. it might be revolutionary!!

Just didn't want to make a trip to the store (and I really didn't know how mcuh a bicycle repair kit costs or where to find one.)

I puncture repair kit costs pennies. You'll be able to get one in any cycle shop. You can also use wetsuit glue, which is what I use.

Clearing up:

1. Copydex DOES NOT operate like RC in any shape or form. Totally different, in fact

2. The Duck/Henkel brand is the 'creme de la creme' for RC, for things like gluing split cards (esp. the Non-Wrinkle version) and also some well-known magic effects

3. RC, aka CONTACT ADHESIVE is spirit based. In the States, it's called RC... in the UK, it's Contact adhesive. There are different grades for different jobs, but generally the CRAFT versions are the versions which you'll find best as a magician.

4. Copydex actually IS in fact made of old fish. It's pulped dead fish. That's why it smells so bad. Joking aside, the first glue patent was given in 1750 for an adhesive made from fish! True!

5. Out of all the glue factories in all the towns, Dobbin unfortunately made his way to this one.

6. On that note, did you know that Muffin the Mule is an offence in several southern US states?

7. Did you hear about the unsuccessful glue sniffer who tried to get stoned safely using a Pritt stick?

8. How come when you mix water and flour together you get glue
... and then you add eggs and sugar and you get cake? Where does the glue go?

9. Did you know that there's a WHOLE website outlining what glue is best for your needs? http://www.thistothat.com

10. The first forms of glues were made from plant resins, and throughout history, glues have derived from natural sources such as animal hide, ground bones and fats. Only recently have synthetic glues become commonplace!

Here's a cool way to carry RC around until you need it...
Ask a woman for an empty nail varnish bottle. Wash it out with nail polish remover, and fill it with RC. You get a brush and bottle—which won't get dissolved by the RC.

Another cool method for quick and disposable applications is a small piece of sponge soaked in RC. Natural sponge seems best.

Now, this can be kept in a sealed polybag!
