I am probably way behind the times but Derren is doing a british tour in 2007 although I'm a bit miffed as he is not doing any near London
I feel a bit of outrage pouring into my brain!!

Yes, me too.
I am going to see him for my second time on May 1st 2007 !! YAY!!!
on the first row as well!
I think to get tickets you need to see the individual venues, that's what I did.
He usually does quite a long stint in London so I'm sure you wont be dissapointed.

I had the pleasure of standing Mr. Brown's head at the 2006 show in St.Davids hall, during the glass/trance routine.
Most surreal that was...

Sorry, I didn't fully realise it was only in the restricted area!
The gist of the message was:
On September 6th Mandrake wrote:I haven't seen any mention elsewhere, not even on Derren's Website, but we had a brochure for Birmingham Hippodrome arrive by post on Monday and it's advertising the Derren Brown 2007 tour as being on there May 1st and 2nd 2007 - see
http://www.birminghamhippodrome.com/mk2 ... showID=168 for the page. The previous tours have all been at the Alexandra Theatre and details/tickets etc from there aren't usually available until January for the year of the tour so to have this much notice is quite a bonus.
My Wife called in and bought our tickets yesterday but apparently they've been on sale for the last three weeks and are selling fast, in fact the first night is almost sold out. The other thing she found out is that the Hippodrome add 6% to all tickets purchased with anything other than cash - credit cards, cheques, debit cards even gift vouchers - greedy s#ds! Derren's website is still only mentioning the Something Wicked This Way Comes tour so I don't expect the full 2007 details to be published yet - if you guys are interested then perhaps enquiring at your usual local theatre would be worth doing?
I see from Derren's website that the 2006/2007 show has been filmed and, in slightly edited form due to time and format constraints, will be shown as a 90 minute special on TV sometime soon. Time to go get new recordable DVDs or videotapes and have your recorders serviced!
Since this it has been confirmed (Magicweek.co.uk?) that the 2007 Tour will use all new material and effetcs. Can't wait!!!

Me neither! Hopefully this time I won't be ill for it either! Last year I was so ill I dreaded that monkey swinging its way to me in case I got chosen to go up there.

I'm still right miffed he's not doing London.
I feel like writing a harsh letter of complaint in which I will sign it "Yours in Annoyance, greedoniz"

There's no need to remind us that we're not special Mandrake!
Mandrake wrote:Sorry, I didn't fully realise it was only in the restricted area!
Gosh, that was restricted information? Was it deemed too secret to tell us "unworthy" magicians that Derren Brown was going on tour, just in case we bought tickets? Wouldn't want any plebs going, would you

Muahahahahahah! Have you any idea how many shows you Lundunners get that don't even make it to Bristol? Get on a train! That's what us non-captial people do when we want to see certain shows.

should it be Londonners or Lundunners or Londunenrs ?
You should check a page called something like 'nowt2do.com' for all things Bristol. The had a competition and interview with Derren a few years ago, and also a review of his 2005/6 show.
I have to say that I am really looking formard to seeing Derren later this year!

You know I would go out into the sticks to see this Derren Brown show but I've seen the Film Deliverence and I look a bit like a young Ned Beatty so there is noooo way.
Derren Brown please come to London and do your show.

The Tour started yesterday in Blackpool - did anyone here go see it?
I'm seeing it on Wednesday but I guess all those with Tuesday tickets will be able to fill us in on the general structure of the show
