Gurkha
If you are looking for info on marked cards I found this book very useful

"Hidden in plain sight" by Kirk Charles with Boris Wild
ISBN 0977128717

I bought it in the states when I was on holiday but you should be able to
get it anywhere
129 pages not including the bibliography.
Obviously with BW's involvement there is a dedicated section on the "BWMD" but its filled with the history of , printed decks , hand marking decks and several different systems plus a couple of tricks to get you going.
If marked cards is your route then give this book a good read

Gurkha, you're thinking too much into the marked cards. It's not as difficult as you might think if you use thge right cards. People aren't expecting a deck to be marked so will very rarely notice.
I use the a method Lady of Mystery has come up with which is so simple and so effective.
