Dressed Like That

Postby Amanda Angeli » Aug 3rd, '07, 13:43

Hello Stephen,

Yes, what you offered there was oh so much more pink and fluffy. I so love the drawing of the girl in the beautiful dress, she reminds me of me and also she reminds me of Lady of Mystery, or at least as I like to think Lady of Mystery is like (you seem beautfiul to me, chica). In fact, I actually have a dress like that. I'll bet that Lady of Mystery does too. In fact, that should be a requirement for all of us on this thread. To not just be pink and fluffy but to look the part too. At least on the inside. Which, by the way, is the secret of being a good magician. Oh, not fashion sense of course or wearing beautiful dresses, but instead, being who we are truly inside as we do our magic for then we bring more of ourselves to our performance.

Love,

Amanda Angeli

Oh Rob, I so hope that you can find the right dress to post, that would be oh so fun. I wish I knew how to post a photo and then I'd send mine, of course, first I'd need a camera and then someone to take the photos, and so on. But golly, I do hope you can find the perfect dress you want.

Love,

Amanda Angeli

Well folks...

...I'm absoultely gutted; I've just returned from 'George', where I was appallled to discover that they didn't have anything remotely like the dress in question in my size (I'm a big boy  ).

So, the upshot is that I've come away with a pink, strappy top, and a pinstriped cream and pink skirt (which comes to just below the knee, with a very tasteful slit up one side).

The really annoying this is, my lovely size 11 pink heels are the wrong shade

Not only that, but in my moody stomping around, at discovering this fact, I've snapped a heel

Now I'm left with the wrong clothes to be able to continue to contribute to this thread....and I can't even walk, without looking like I've suffered a cataclysmic stroke

I'm Pink, I'm Fluffy...but I'm not at all happy
