can you please buy me some shin-guards too... :?:

i am neither pink nor fluffy today - i appear to be coming down with the dreaded man-flu, and i have run out of both coffee and hot chocolate...

but on the plus side, i have been enjoying a magic book and dvd called Subliminations immensely...

Pink and fluffy this evening...

As is normal of an evening I went down to our cornershop to get today's 8 pack of grolsh (£5 - value!), only to catch the Ben & Jerry's delivery man making his delivery. I cheekily asked if he had any free samples, he said "yeah, so many I'm selling them!" - ho ho - but I hung around and looked hungry, and he eventually picked one out of the freezer and tossed it my way!

So my dinner this evening consisted of a steak sandwich (made with one of my 8 for £5 sirloin steaks from the market - again, top value!), washed down with a cold beer that didn't cost me much either, and followed by a generous helping of totally free half-baked ice cream.

Life doesn't get much better than that.

Completely unexpectedly, I received a most wonderful, most welcome, and most heart-warming present for Valentine's Day this morning. A tax refund cheque for £79 from HM Revenue & Customs  !!

Other than getting to see me julie tonight (and eating out - I love eating out!), I'm pink and fluffy because my card work is really starting to come together. Fumble free DLs, passable passes, I've mastered some really deceptive card control and fairly impressive changes... I'm starting to feel like a magician, rather than someone who can do a few tricks. And it feels great.
