I saw this on penguin magic but unfortunately as my PC will not run Quicktime i could not see it.

Hence i am asking one of you guys to review it for those you don't know what it is.
And for those who do know about it,
Could you tell me whether the trick is unique to the pencil or whether you can use other things like your finger.
Thank you

In the name of Magic

Like your machine, mine doesn't like Quicktime format so check out http://www.magicbuzz.net/ where Russ himself demo's the routine in Windows Media format - there's also a glimpse of Finger Thru' Bill.

Note that there is no soundtrack, just music, so don't worry that your machine is broken!

And the trick is pretty good as well! Russ has posted a few messages here in recent weeks and he's always approachable by personal e-mail via his website if you have any queries.

Any of you familiar with Wenk's "Misled" will love this.

You're comment about 'pencil or finger???'...

Strangely enough, there's an excellent bonus routine, by Lonnie Chevrie, which compliments the main pencil effect very well. It allows you to prove that it is indeed the 'bill' which is pourous, not the pencil - proven by jabbing your finger VISUALLY right through the banknote.

As mentioned in the review itself - this effect is not so sympathetic of our stumpy British currency... but there are plenty of compromises in the world of Magic!

Check out Yankee Tom's review... then, even if you're sceptical - just buy it. You won't be disappointed.
