Electric touch - Flourescent tube

Postby leviticus » Jan 22nd, '07, 13:13

Has anyone found a suitable bulb ( UK supplier pref )
for this effect. Ive found a few which I think will work
on some caravan sites but obviously I would rather buy a
tried and tested one.
thanks in advance

Any proper flourescent tube will work... remember physics at school with the Van De Graff machine? (spelling?)

I'd recommend going to B&Q or homeware store which does kitchens, and looking through the kitchen section. You need an 'undercupboard' light I think. They're small.

Good luck.

Those mini aquarium and vivarium lights are good too, but don't do as I did when I upgraded my tarantula's tank, which was to fumble my car keys, drop the bag containing the stuff I'd just bought from the pet superstore and smash the damned bulb.

I don't have one, so this may be a silly suggestion. Can't you just take it along to B&Q or somewhere and try a few out? Apart from anything else, you'd get amazing looks from staff and other customers....

In that case, it probably does work the way I think it does - and I want one...
