Derren Brown: The Gathering is being shown again on Thursday 1st February, on E4. In this show Derren works in front of an invited audience of magic experts and celebrity fans presenting a one-hour fusion of magic, suggestion, psychology and misdirection. "I've always loved performing live and of course it gives people a chance to see that everything's fair. The audience will be made up of interested parties; some famous faces, some psychics, magicians, psychologists and so on. Part of the fun of it for me is having very little control over who I use on stage. The volunteers will all be randomly selected." The televised version of Derren's hit show Something Wicked This Way Comes, screened for the first time just a couple of weeks ago, brilliantly captured the very palpable excitement and amazement that he generates during a live show.

11pm on Thursday 1st February (1 hour 10 minutes) on E4.
12 midnight Thursday 1st February (1 hour 10 minutes) on E4 Plus 1.

Praise the Lord for Sky+... I'll be in Belgium on 1st Feb, so I will have to set this to record. Trouble is, Sky+ only lets you see a week ahead, so can't set this till Thursday!

On a digressional hijack of the thread, (a-la-L.O.M.), does anyone have experience of setting your Sky+ to record via mobile?

There's a lot to be said for getting one of those USB Freeview doobries for the PC. I haven't got an aerial for mine - the one they supply is not the best.

Alot of what he did in the show is exactly what I saw when I saw him live.
So it was a bit boring. I wish he would go back to his Card tricks.

I recorded it anyway though.

After all that excitment of waiting to see this i didnt reliase id already seen this twice before so i was a bit gutted. I still managed to enjoy it thoe as i said to my missuss ill try to read the spectators mind through the telly and get the correct answer before derren even gets it like on the first effect the triangle one, i told her it was a brand new show so she thought it was amazing that i was correctly getting the predictions before derren even did :twisted:

well it made it more interesting.
