(sigh) i remember my first time....incredible....i saw fire works................royal road to card magic......what?...what do you think i was talking about
Well basically, if your new to this, in my opinion you shouldnt jump into the deep end. Personally, a few people may recommened you use gimmicks as your starting point, now im not totally convinced this is the best way to start. I think a good product teaching you the basics would probably be best. Royal road to card magic is like the fundmental book if you want to learn the basics of card magic. The book is quite cheap to buy, but if your more of a visual learning, they also have it on video and dvd, but this is slightly more expensive.

As anticipated I was beaten when it comes to recommending Mark Wilson's Complete course, but consider it seconded!

Also I'd recommend JB BoBo's for Coin magic, I've recently picked this up for £2.78...and the stuff I've learnt from the first few chapters is amazing!

Cheers and welcome!
