I am assuming, Tony, that you found this forum via a search engine.

Well, if you use the same approach, but substitute 'how to make greed' in your search with the words 'gregory wilson magic' you may be enlightened.

Anyone not going to Blackpool, he is also lecturing at Ipswich Magical Society, Mar 16th. Let me know if you are interested in attending and I will send more details.

I believe he is doing a lecture on the 13th of April for the Bradford magic circle. Also performing in the hey presto magic show for the Bradford circle on the 14th April.

As I wrote elsewhere on this forum:

I meet Gregory Wilson about 10 years ago in Copenhagen. He is endeed a very entertaining and good magician. He has been unlucky that he did not won the FISM world championship in card magic, but got silver twice!

While I was pretty much a beginner when I meet Gregory, he was very pleasent and I found him very approachable.

I saw his lecture and close up at Blackpool. Amazing. His card flicking was incredible. The way he threw the card up in the air, kicked it and caught it! I want to do that so much. I've crippled so many of my cards trying it.

All the best,
Croz

I saw his lecture on Tuesday night at the local magic club and I must say this guy is hilarious and a very skiled magician.

He was doing a lot of his effects from On the Spot and off the cuff so really stuff you can do with things that you can easily carry around or find on peoples desks etc without much if any prep at all.

I love the routine he has with the Poker chip, very funny for people watching, probably more so as it was a room full of magicians.

I found he was a great teacher as well and a skilled pick pocket as well as obviously his card flicking. Very approachable and was happy to chat for sometime afterwards. One of these days I'll ask one of the guys if they fancy a night on the town afterwards.

One thing I'd find really useful and would you mind if I do this is to put up what effects/dvd's they are selling and the price.

i.e. He is selling on the night he comes to your club PyroTechic Paste boards for £**

I'd find it useful to know so I know how much money on the night as a lot of these magicians I appreciate travel around the country
