bitter is for miners surely? come on now...

as for stella, well, if you want a proper hangover...drink that...tastes rancid to my obviously delicate palate...

as a soon to be 35 year old, may i remind you all that my bladder is now stretched to the size of a wind-sock...but rather like pringles, once you pop...(sponsor of the innuendo thread)...

young mr. beard - you have been warned, and as stated, going out, getting shipwrecked on fizzy lager, sleeping for two hours then getting up and doing it all over again is an industry standard when you are 17...

i shall be sampling expensive wines, and charming wheat beers, and probably wearing a nappy...i might even bring along some cheeky cigars...

EDIT: last year, they shut the pub down for refurbishment, we waited 3 months, it re-opened...nothing changed...though it seems they've now installed a mouse...

in our building, it is referred to as The Lychees...due to someone rather drunk refering to it as such...not me..someone far older..

I am a welshman who moved to yorkshire when I was 10 therefore I am legally obliged to drink bitter and talk about how when I were a lad I used to work a 47 hour shift down't pit before walking home in my bare feet only to be beaten by me dad. If I were lucky!

I think Markdini was being a tad sly offering the 28th as a day as beardy boy booked the 23rd off.

It's good to have more people along although having 6 or more people may tip the cost of a round to over a tenner....only just though

In fact I was. Ah Master Abraxus we shall finaly meet. (Searchies for a mentalism priciple he can impress the greand master with)

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

And I shall be struggling to do CMH and other simple stuff and moan I am not any good. While doing muscle reading and Le paul spreads.

Yep it is still happening as far as I'm aware.

2pm upstairs Lyceum Tavern (354 Strand).

It is really easy to find. Come out of Charing Cross station on to the strand. Cross the road and walk up the strand (away from Trafalgar) it is all the way up the strand and you will see it on your left (keep your eyes peeled.
If you hit the Wellington pub (Waterloo Bridge) then you have walked too far but only just.
Honestly you cant miss it if you keep your eyes peeled.
