Should be able to make the 30th, if only for a couple of hours.

According to the brewery, the Old Bank of England is closed on Saturdays. Like most of the good pubs in that area, sadly. Shame, as I used to go there quite a bit after work.

Of course I bloody am.

I actually liked the Old bank of England had a certain elegance to it. Walkers would be interesting to find out what was with the bar maid who was a magician. My fav of the bunch is lychee though, all though I did get thrown out of there a couple months back.

Anyway so longs me and Grue can go for our post magic meal (bingo that if you want) last time we had pizza express and discussed the Enfield poltergeist

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

Friday would be briefer, but I don't mind if we get to play with our Harris.

MUST......RESIST......COMMENT

29th would be a slight damp squib if only cause it'd be a shorter meet and a very busy pub being friday night (you know I like a seat when drinking)

I can't do the Friday, but don't let that stop you.

I was going to suggest the Old Bell (also on Fleet Street, and with lots of Bingo potential, as well as excellent pork scratchings and good beer), but guess what - not open Saturdays!

Happy with the Coalhole, and willing to give Walkers a whirl.

We could try the George: http://www.pubs.com/main_site/pub_details.php?pub_id=93

The Seven Stars: http://www.pubs.com/main_site/pub_detai ... pub_id=207

Or the Knights Templar (which apparently will require a move later in the evening, but after I'll have gone!): http://www.pubs.com/main_site/pub_detai ... pub_id=133

7pm on a saturday what kind of pub closes then? It closes at 7pm on a saturday but still serves food to 10pm what a crazy place.

Not only that, but they apparently start serving food before they open.

Maybe there's a restaurant area that's spearate from the bar? Or the website is just hopelessly misleading! That was my least favourite option of the three I posted, so perhaps best avoided.

Only one man can make sense of that place and that Man is David Icke , I like Walkers for the option of number one place to meet. Big tables nice seats. Picture of Tony Blair on the Door to the Gents.
