Too late!

I've already kitted out the bar maid with explosives and a trap door

I can picture the scene now...

Bronz arrives at the pub 30 minutes early and shins up the drainpipe to stick a card to the outside of the first floor window. As his head pops over the sill he spots Greedoniz furtively attaching a bowling ball to the underside of a table, ready to produce it from a 'random table' later.

As Bronz goes to duck out of sight he catches a glimpse of Magic Monkey sneaking up the stairs behind our erstwhile Boba Fett enthusiast, his arms full of wires and pullies, all the better to perform an impromptu chair levitation shortly. The sly grin on his face vanishes like a preset DeKolta when he clocks Greedoniz and he steps sharply backwards cannoning into Abraxus who is surreptitiously concealing the receiver screen for his 'ordinary notepad' behind a fire extinguisher ("Ha, they'll never see this one coming", he chuckles to himself, "£500 well spent there methinks"!).

Bronz sniggers at the impending farce and slides swiftly down the pipe, lands with a bump and thanks the Lord that he didn't get involved in that fiasco. Turning he spots Markdini strolling down the Strand with a bulging Davenports carrier bag in each hand and the smug countenance of one who is about to get one over on his fellow enthusiasts. Bronz decides to nip off to McDonalds until it's really time to meet, and let poor old Mark walk into the crossfire...

The 19th is super for me troops, who's in?

Seeing in to the future bronzy baby? I shall try me best to make it. Well not make a day because that is beyond my powers I shall try to get to the pub. With more Nardi/spelmann tricks then you can shake a S.A wallet at.

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

I'll be there and if it happens to be a hot day and I'm wearing a large overcoat indoors it will be mere coincedence and not a prepped yet feeble staging of my yet to be famous large object production sequence

If anybody is going to the download festival this year, I think we should try and arrange a bit of a meeting for there! Would be interesting!

Yeah that's on the same weekend, I thought about registering then remembered a mate of mine always gets me in free, have that!

Doubt I'll go though, after the meet I'll be so magically hyped I'll want to run straight to Covent Garden and embarrass myself.

BUMP! So as far as I know Greedoniz, Markdini, Magic Monkey, and of course myself are eagerly gathering our powers for the 19th. Anyone else in? Judging by the last one it'll be a hoot.

Yes the lyceum is right next to the lycuem theatre on The Strand and we met last time in a darkened corner upstairs and drank a few, attempted a few magic demos and openly discussed secrets with the whole pub.....ok maybe not that.

I shall be there and can stay longer this time as my girlfriend is away for the weekend and have no other plans although I may be coming straight from an all nighter poker session so if I win the pints are on me....if not they are on you....Hoorah!

From 2pm if I remember right

Huzzah, the last one ended just as I was transitioning from 'half cut' to 'stinkered'! This time I vote we target real laypeople with our killer routines. I'll say it now, shotgun ACR. There. Now no one else can do it. Ha.

Tomorrow it happens

Lyceum Tavern
Upstairs
2pm onwards

In order to recognise which group we are last months attendees will be wearing fake toupees and so if any new joinee could wear one too so we know who you are.

Thanks

As the song says, I'll be there. Wearing my fake toupee, not my genuine one.
