Tv magicaly turning off

Postby AJ » Mar 5th, '07, 03:02

Can the bat, M5, or anything else able to turn the TV off because im in junior high and it will be hilarious to see the TV turn off after the teacher starts to walk away after turning it on. They will never expect it and they will go crazy.

There is also kids at school that sometimes annoy and pick on other kids and they listen to thinks like ipods and sometimes play the psp during lunch breaks. It will be hilarious giving them a taste of their own medicine by turning their psp off while there in a game.

If you have a Poundland locally, they sell a tiny remote control (for a £1, obviously) which can turn a TV off, change channel etc. Great fun!

It's not possible to do this without the right equipment, i.e a controller, so a bat/raven etc wouldn't work.

A similar device can be found at the following URL:

One I found a while ago which I've had a lot of fun with recently. Particularly so at the homes of friends or at the bar.

I remember when I was at school, some of the kids had TV remote control watches. They were good fun :D

If you have your own guardian angel who has a devlish streak, sometimes she will assist you in things like this.

I once had my guardian angel keep opening the door in Geography class. That was fun!!!

AJ: I wouldn't want to encourage you in to doing anything naughty, as you should only use your powers for good..

but if you have a quarter decent mobile phone* (who hasn't these days?) you could get a java applet for it that will it let act as TV remote.

*or PDA/laptop with infrared

Slightly incorrect there. Not any java phone, it must support Symbian.

1. I don't see the phrase "any java phone" in my posts!

2. I don't think AJ can be arsed anyway.
