well im thinking of getting andrew mayne's "voodoo box" plans, but just a quickie before i get paid next week and purchase it......does it have to be umbrellas? because i was hoping i could use things like broom handles........or very big sticks

Im just wondering whether the effect has to be performed with umbrellas?

if its the thing I'm thinking of then you could use walking sticks , fencing swords, broom handles or just bout anything that fits the holes you make.

Yes you could use brooms or any other kind of stick or even swords BUT it realy wouldn't look nearly as good as with umbrellas, believe me!
