You won't find several of those things in there...At least, not as listed. One in particular, the spellbound change, came out after Bobo was published. See, even though Bobo is as complete a book on coins as you can get, there have been a few new things put out onto the market after the printing of that book. It's kind of like the old saying, "Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and again."
So, Bobo is not the end all of coin magic. But, it's pretty close.
Also, the reason that I can find things in that book that your ctrl f won't find is because I've actually taken the time and read the book. Cover to cover. Taking notes and annotating the book.
As an example,
click here. See, the vanish known as "The Messiah Vanish" is not mentioned in Bobo. Nevertheless, it
IS in Bobo, but under the original name. If I were using an e-book and tried to ctrl and f "The Messiah Vanish" I would believe that it isn't in the book. But, that's not how it is. I actually took the time to read the book. That's the reason, specifically, that I know David Roth did not invent the retention of vision vanish. Had I not read the book, I would have had to agree with Markdini and believe that it was Roth's machination to begin with.
That, sir, is what
YOU need to do. Rather than have folks tell you what you should learn and what you shouldn't, you need to read the book and learn what you think you should learn. That's really the point behind the book.
If you read the book, I wouldn't have to tell you that it suggests that the three most important sleights are the classic palm, the finger palm and the thumb palm. You'd already know it and you'd already have learned them.
Learn to crawl. Then learn to walk. Soon you'll be sprinting.
Learn to be patient and learn to read real books - not e-books.
