This thread is getting ridiculous. There is a simple answer if you don't like someone don't respond to there thread. We have all seen threads on here that we don't agree with but I personally wouldn't bother answering them because I have better things to do and better things to talk about on a magic forum. I have made stupid post on here which was against the rules even thoe I didn't know it was at the time but I never got slated because IM not controversal and my posts dont stick out where as Mark is controversial and that's why people notice his posts more and that's why he gets put down every time he makes one. I think people take Marks post all wrong bearing in mind I don't know him but I know of his posts, I think he does it in jest not to offend people and I particuly find Mark's posts hilarious because I take them in jest. I think it's a great shame that siege is even thinking of stopping his MOD duties aswell because he is probally the most dedicated MOD on here that I have seen {I am not saying the other mods arnt dedicated} but everytime I am on here Siege is here helping people sorting posts and trying his hardest to sort out all the silly posts, I mean the man as a job and family aswell as he is entitled to his opinions and if he feels and the rest of the mods feels posts are acceptable I think we should all agree and move on and enjoy the forum and each other. There is a wealth of information here and at every silly post others are putting more effort into replying to them and not the ones with valuble information in. Im afraid this post is going to end up locked like the other shed load and if it carrys on we will end up with more locked posts than open ones. By the way this is my general opinion on every silly thread and not just this one so by all means do not take this as an offensive post it is just my opinion on all of the TM threads. I think we should all be talking about how good TM is and not about how many silly posts there are. There are so many nice people on here who have a lot to offer but no-one is dilvuging into there posts or asking them for help instead we are all disagreeing on silly posts which should just be ignored.

There have been loads of people who have offered to moderate in the past but if everyone was taken up on the offer who would moderate the moderators?

one reason that noone new has been offered the chance(or punished by) of being a mod is that all of us existing mods were chosen by the site owner a long time ago and up until fairly recently we've been able to keep the wolves at bay so to speak. But as i said in my post above the forum has grown considerably in the last year or so so it may be the case that extra mods may be needed.

I wasn't suggesting taking everyone up on their offers, far from it. It's just that when you have a forum that is largely unmoderated at night, one moderator saying he's not getting work done because of the amount of work he's had to do here, and another saying he hasn't been around the forum much because of other commitments, then the obvious decision is to appoint another mod. Someone like Tomo, would be an asset to the forum.

I think there should be some kind of memeber vote on who the new mod(s) should be. If the standing ones put foward who they think should join them, we all vote it will be much more diplomatic.

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.
