Washing your Clothes :D

Postby Beardy » Apr 3rd, '07, 15:26

well guys...i left some cards in my pocket as it went through the wash....

....

....the cards didn't survive, but not only that, I have ruined loads of clothes - some of which brand new!

I'm just wondering what tips you can give on getting the bits of cards out of the items of clothing? It has been through about 3 washes and 4 tumble dries and still no luck!

Thanks in advance for all your help! I'm desperate here!

Love

Chris

oppps, that was a silly thing to do :P

your best bet would be to let the clothes dry totally and then try to brush them down with a stiff brush.

This kinda thing happened to me in the house when my housemate left a tissue in his pocket (I could've killed him).

What Lady of Mystery says is good advice, I used a rubber brush that my mum has in the house for cleaning up the dog hairs.

And I'd also recommend putting the washing machine on a few times without any clothes to flush out any card still left in the machine. Another thing that we found out when it was too late :x

Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.

...IT's a good job we have a woman on the forum to answer such questions.

I will now run away in a cowardly fashion, hide and cover my shins

Dry the clothes in the sun and the bits should get hard and fall off.

Nice. You could just say that you love magic so much that you washed your clothes with them to give them that 'new deck' smell!
