Hey all,

I'm looking for some really effective magic pictures to decorate my website - not necessarily of people, but card/magic related pictures. Google search has been ineffective. Argh.

Why not take you own shots using a digital camera?

I'm sure that with some creative editing they will be much better than much of what you will find on the web and there will be no copyright issues to worry about.

TYPE in "image search" in the regular google search engine... it comes up with a list of sites devoted to searching for desktop backgrounds and images for projects/powerpoints....... then type in card flourishes or card magic... or whatever else you're looking for

...i just did it and found some nice photos!

You're not going to find anything good for free. Your choice is either to make your own or pay for stock images. These can range from a few cents an image to several hundred dollars.

You can find free stock photos here, just search for cards:

You need to register to download the high resolution images, but it's free to register so that's no problem. Except for the 'premium' photos, all photos are free to use. It's a large on-line photo sharing website. (might also be usefull for everybody elso who needs an image of any kind, or for those who want to share their own photos)
