I've been trying to learn some flourishes and have been practicing the Werm from Dan and Dave's System.

In the five packet display, I'm having trouble grabbing more than one card in the bottom and middle packets. In the video it's unclear (at least to me) whether there is supposed to be one card or a small packet of cards there.

Does anyone have any tips? I know that might have been vague, if so I'll try and elaborate further.

The first three packets that split are, indeed, packets of about a third of the deck each. The card held by the index finger and the one that seems to appear in the middle of the other four are single cards.
