OK, having just watched a video performance I now know more or less what this is and how it works. Am even more excited now. I'd still love to know if it's been superceded (if that's the correct word) by any newer product however.

Also, is it the same as the Xpert more or less or something quite different? I mean, should I get both this and the Xpert or just one of the two?

Totally different products.

It's hard to see how it could really be superseded (though perhaps not impossible - I just can't see how it could be improved upon - it does what it does).

I liked the idea behind the Xpert, but in reality found very little use for it, apart from the fact that it works with Director's Cut. I haven't made much use of Silver Bullet Lite, but it works well, and is something you could easily carry round with you, just in case.

Is this still the best whatever-it-is or has anything made it obsolete, or has anything come along that does the same job but better?

I ask because the posts are very old indeed.

I admit to having no clue whatsoever what this is, but the reviews make it sound very powerful. I've been looking for an impromptu book test but haven't found one that I like the look of. I never feel comfortable with a thumb writer. Ideally I have to present the word to them written down I'd like it to be in an envelope so they don't think I wrote it secretly after they told me their word... I don't know of that is possible with this or not, but one way or another this sounds like it can be used for a remarkably clean book test.

OK, I now know exactly what this is and will buy it. Still have no idea what the Xpert is but will probably buy that anyway!
