i checked that out and it looked kind of lame too.

for that matter, I just recieved "the system" by dan and dave, and was not very impressed.

it has about 3 unique looking moves out of all the main flourishes, most of them would not look different at all to a layman. I like the Werm though.

anyways I was hoping for some more incorporation of other flourish elements rather than just sybil cuts and flipping the deck. just because you make a slight variation on how many packets you flip in and out of the deck, does not make it a "groundbreaking new flourish" and certainly not the best DVD out there, I hope... lol...

anyways there are also some cool ace productions in the extras so it's not a complete write-off, but I really don't think it was that great.

Mr Charlier would not agree with using the middle finger . The fact is, Showoff with cards teaches the incorrect methods of some moves whilst not giving correct credit where it is deserved.

Fine, the Charlier is a classic flourish that really is hard to date and find credit to and I'm okay with that. How about the flipback? The flipback is done using the index and the pinky in Showoff with Cards which is not the correct method as taught by De'vo. And besides, it's just harder than the original method so why bother using a harder and more awkward method when there's a much simpler method to achieve the same result?
Another move, if I remember correctly, that was taught not fully was Brian Tudor's Bad Habit. All that was taught was the first quarter of the move. Again, credit was not given.

There.... RANT OVER :D

hey I just joined a website called "decknique.net" (not .com, that is a construction company LOL)

anyways it's got lots of user submitted XCM vids, although, apparantly its uncool to say XCM, i don't know ?

it seems like almost everyone into this flourishing hobby is like 13 years old, haha maybe it's because those kids are the only ones spamming youtube with their videos.

Umm.... I'm 18 . Plus the people over at Decknique range from about 13 to over 20s.

yeah I guess I was exaggerating a little bit.

but anyways this topic is about XCM vids so I just thought I'd point out that decknique.net has a bunch of them, also handlordz forum supposedly has a bunch but I haven't really checked it out yet.

I'm 25 and have met VERY few flourishes older than me. mostly the "youtube" generation is into it, or maybe they are just alot more active on the forum boards ;)
