I saw it yesterday too, and personally enjoyed it. I guess it's all a matter of taste, but a lot of things are revealed about the previous two movies and a lot of twists happen throughout the movie.

I'd say watch it, you might enjoy it, you might not, but if you saw the first 2, then you'll learn a lot from this one and will have something to talk about at work :).

I can't wait for it. Spawn and Carnage are my two favorite villain/hero in the Spiderman series.

being the big spiderman comic geek that i am i know I'm just going to sit there going "...not how it happened in the comic..." throughout a lot of it. although, i will most definitly go and see it, and enjoy it.
I'm kinda hoping the symbiote storyline leads on to their being a Carnage film, they could make it an 18 and it would be amazing (i wish)

Yeah, I think there's a little bit of a stretch between the removal of Peter's symbiote suit and Spawn. As it happens in the movie, I believe the two coincide, but if my memory serves me well, there was a stretch of about two years before Spawn was completely formed.

i'll give the editors props-were it's due-the introduction was very good! they showed events from the last two films, so you don't really miss out on much.

however, it's just a case of cheesyness (which you will most definately see when you watch the film) and a case of Flint was Flint one second and sand man the next and that venom was only init for the last tn minutes of the film. I'm not talking about black spidey I'm talking about venom.

black spidey has an emo fringe as well, which was quite funny.

for such a short film they certainly packed a lot of action, back story, love tangles and a bucket load of revenge.

all done in a nice 12a comic way, what was the cert on batman returns, but still making it meeningfull for the adults, i'd have to say it was more on the lines of superman 3 than the darker batman returns.

For the REAL Spiderman fans...:

To coincide with the new film, Stern are about to release their latest pinball machine, SPIDER-MAN.

Watch out for it in arcades or, alternatively, true arachnophiliacs with deep pockets can purchase their own for a little over three grand (thats' ££££'s not $$$$'s)!

SWEEEEEEET! I think I just had a small stroke looking at that bad boy! Luckily for me there's an arcade just outside the movie theater I usually go to. Watch Spiderman 3, play the game, rinse and repeat!
