I think the biggest tip of all is to keep in mind that it is not the trick which is so important but the personality of the performer. The trick is only a peg that you hang your personality on. The magic is YOU! Don't present magic. Present YOURSELF doing magic. It is not the trick which is so important so much as the illusion you create about yourself.
