The best deck for...

Struggling with an effect? Any tips (without giving too much away!) you'd like to share?

I find that gaffed decks come in useful, but there's not really a lot of point using one to force when there are so many different ways with a normal deck, some of them being incredibly simple.

as a newcomer I find the riffle force to be the easiest to do convincingly and no one suspects a thing, especially if you give them a chance to change their mind and do it again if they don't look too sure

normal deck for me and a jolly old cut deeper on the table...hands off...lovely...

though, i do own a 3 way force deck, with 2 short cards for my own nefarious purposes...

normal deck and a slip cut force is my number one choice for a force
Either that or if I'm feeling particularly naughty I go with a one way force deck.

I usually go for a slip cut force or a cross cut force

normal deck and slip cut here as well. Or I sometimes favour the one that's a bit like a reverse cull (don't know what it's called)

I like the slip force, although Derren Brown's use of a forcing deck ( not giving too much away am I? ) on DPB is fantastic!

Yes, I like that one also. So simple, yet totally baffling.

Gotta love the fact that Derren originally wanted to do it with a stacked, marked deck. Talk about making life difficult for yourself. Thank god he saw the light and changed the method.
