Certainly not aimed at I.D. , but as far as I'm concerned - EGO is a massive killer with any creative process...stay well away from it...

a huge difference between ego and being self-assured...as soon as the ego suddenly inflates, youchange, and you dont listen - and therefore do not learn anything...

never get sooooo big for yer boots that you just end up resting on laurels...

on here, it's also very hard to convey a meaning, if you're being jokey or sarky or whatever...

Indeed.. all I meant was that, exactly.. you often don't realise how what you say comes across.. so if your the kind of person who just says what you feel at the time of saying it.. it can sooo easily be taken the wrong way..

This thread has inspired me to go try and cheer some folk up, and spread some love, at the uni tomorrow. so after i finish my exam I'm going to go to the bar, meet some random people and hug them.

i'd also like to take this opportunity to blame all my pr##kish behaviour on my current alcohol problem, and say that i am trying, somewhat, to overcome it.

although in my defense i do all my revision well in advance of my exams so i can have the day befor the exams being relatively stress free. see, i can be organised and responsible sometimes. and on that note, i might head out to play some Munchkin and eat some chips.
