As many here will have noticed, a recent new arrival here called michel Kras has caused quite a stir.
Yes, he has wound many people up, and been given good advice, that perhaps he hasn't followed.
But please please please can we give the poor lad a break. He is 14 for christs sake. To see grown men, who should know better, bully a child, is not nice. If I was new to magic and popped onto TM this week, I wouldn't dare join. Which is a shame, as I joined this forum as it was the friendliest one I found.
If we all cant see a bit of Michael in our young selves (even current selves) then we are lying.
Yes many of us have said things to Michael (me included), but its starting to get nasty. And if you notice, he has been more than polite in response, which is more than most of us would do when faced with such hostility. Cant it all stop now.

Seconded. I always find that the best advice when dealing with someone who you find annoying is to ignore them.

BTW I do have a sneaking admiration for MK's sheer boldness. The guy is 14 and is already selling lecture notes. They may not be very good lecture notes, but he's stil selling lecture notes. I vote Michael Krass the class of '07 most likely to succeed. When you get your first TV series Michael, remember me and jet me over for a guest slot!

BUT I am at fault for much of this. I apologize for being annoying and will try to take the time to ( tttttt?) re-read everyone's advice and really give some thought to it!

I quite often defend the chap. See many a post I have stood up for and given advice to him. But I notice a lot of stuff here that is going down hill in a way. All i shall do now is wait for someone to say "if you dont like it then leave"

Good lad. Remember you can have the smoothest DL going but if you cant entertain its not worth anything. You can have quite a sloppy one and if you can entertain you can get away with it.

I agree, it seems a shame for him to be dis-couraged when hes so enthusiastic.

Totally agree, as I've said a few times, it much nicer to see enthusiasm like that compared to the usuall how do I do x that we normally get.
