The Darleks learnt to fly quite a while ago, not just in the new series. It was an episode with Sylvester McCoy. As for the police box, the doctors said many times that humans dont see things that are right in front of them and ignore things that dont make sense:D

Yup - Saturday's was an absolutely stunning episode; fast, furious, breath-taking in it's scope and embarassingly emotive (it's bloody weird getting all teary over an episode of Doctor Who  ).

Simply one of the most enjoyable, fulfilling romps on tv at the moment.

...And this Saturday's episode is supposed to be majorly chilling (in a Sapphire and Steel kinda' way  )

Now where did I put the back of the sofa?!

I'm with Abraxus on this one. I just dont get it?

Why don't the 'bad guys' when they see the doctor just shoot him rather than catch him, tell him their entire plan whilst giving him ample time to defeat them usually by flipping some sort of switch?

Once while watching a particular episode I nearly dislocated my jaw as I was yawning so wide....I do realise that I'm in the vast minority in my confusion concerning the widespread love of this. It was rubbish when I was a kid and its rubbish now.
Now Heroes is a proper series.

Oh dear...

I do think that some of the - errmm older - members here, are possibly getting a little confused between the old series and the new one.

Luckily, an average Saturday audience of 8 million viewers (making 'New Who' easily the most watched programme every Saturday since it's been back), disagree strongly

Nope I have watched more than one episode from the new series (both doctors) and I find it rather ....meeehhh. that isnt really a word but it is the only sound that describes it to me.

Now it isn't truly truly terrible up to ITV sitcom standard but it certainly isnt must watch tv for me by any standard. The funny thing is that usually I like sci-fi programmes

and just cos something popular, doesnt automatically make it great..Westlife for instance...and the second series of Extras spring to mind...

i'd rather see the Baker than the new 'uns...

Blink is on tomorrow!

If you think your not a Dr Who fan watch this one because its a change to the format.

1. Its supposed to be Sh*t scary (well for a 7pm show)
2. The Doctor is hardly in it

Give it a try and let us know what ya think
