Just a quick question James...how could you get the spec to remove said item from your pocket, without "jiggling" first?

Love

Some items will go direct into the pocket. Therefore the spec can retrieve them (some control is necessary - 'careful not to touch something you shouldn't' - this keeps them from the inside edge). For larger objects you may have to adjust. Bear in mind though that you can show your hand totally empty, turn the pocket out and then replace and adjust ready for the spec to retrieve the object.

Hope that helps... feel free to contact me direct otherwise (mob on website)

Darn it. I just got 100 dollars today for working for my dad and i can buy the workeroo now, and i really want to because it looks great and really practical. But I don't think I should be spending all of my money as soon as i get it. Plus I don't like that it can only be put in one pair of pants. Does he give you a pattern or something so that you can make more of the "pouch" if you want (like a topit). Or do you have to buy the extra pouches james was talking about?

Mine arrived yesterday and I must say what a brilliant device and great quality as well. You wouldn't want to be making this yourself, a lot of time and effort has obviously gone into making this fantastic prop and the effects explained on the DVD are superb but you'll only be limited by your imagination with this one.

At £25 for another gimmick I might be tempted to get a 2nd one hooked up. Now to book that appointment with the seamstress :) I can't wait to start using this thing

This may be a shot in the dark but i'll ask anyway. I have about 200 dollars (usd) so, i think thats about 100 pounds. I Really want to get the workeroo (assuming there are still some in stock) but that would pretty much empty my piggy bank. I have also been looking at david stone's stuff lately, not having ever purchased any of it, and it all looks really good particularly "the real secrets of magic" and his second coin dvd. So, what I'm asking is (to those who have purchased the workeroo) is it way worth what you pay for it, and to those who have any stone material, is it as great as it looks. I have heard great things about both but I'm not sure, as of right now I'm leaning towards the workeroo. Thanks in advance.

We all place different values on the magic that we buy and much of how you rate it can be to do with your level of skill and experience. If you;re a beginner then there are better things to spend your money on that all of the items that you list.

I own the DVD's that you mention (including Stone's coin magic DVD's) and they are generally too advanced for a total novice. There are reviews that can help you make up your mind if you look for them.

I don't own the Workeroo but have a good idea of what it is. I'm assured by someone that I know that has it, that it's a clever utility that is well made and the attention to detail that James has put into it is also high. But you do have to ask yourself if it is something that you will really use.

If it is, then it's worth the money. If not, then......... The problem with buying magic is that sometimes you will never know what it's real worth is to you until you've spent your money!

Hey guys, I just bought the workeroo. Now i have wait who knows how long to get it. I live in california so it'll probably take quite a while. I can't wait. :D

post edit-I didn't see your post Dat9862. Just so you know, I'm not a beginner, i have been doing magic seriously for a little over three years now and i (like almost everyone else here) have been doing bits and pieces of it since I was 8 years old. I'm just new to this particular forum. Thankyou though for taking your time to help. I'm glad to know that the David Stone coin DVD's aren't beginner stuff. May i ask if that goes for just volume two or one as well? I don't want to buy volume one if it's full of stuff that I already know.

No problem and hopefull the general advice will help others

As for the David Stone DVD's I recently posted reviews on both volume 1 and volume 2 in the electronic media sections.

Happy hunting

Great review's. I just bought volume 1. I'm going to hold off on volume 2 until I master the material on volume 1 (plus i don't have the money right now). it sounds great i can't wait for it ,and my workeroo, to get here. :D

I just got my workeroo today. It doesn't look like i thought it would. It looks much more professional than i thought. I figured james was manufacturing these himself out of his house but it sure doesn't look that way. It works how i thought it would. I just have to wait for my mom to get some extra time to hook it up.I think i could probably do it but I don't want to take the chance. I also got David stone's basic coin magic volume one yesterday and it's awesome. I love the tricks. They get you thinking and you can kind of make up your own variation's on some stuff. I am going to pick up volume two soon.
