Cig Up Nose

Postby Chris » Jun 8th, '07, 10:47

Okay so after hours of studying the manuscript for this trick (lol) I has delighted by its beauty.........

However when it comes to performance, I find that wearing a black jacket and having a white cigarette, that "when it disappears" it stands out a mile....it seems to not go down very smoothly like the vids i have seen of it perfomed.....My missus spotted it straight away, although she loved the effect...........

So any heads up on how to make it go wer it should go with it being seen.......and yes im aware of things like "angles"

Hope I didnt speak in to much code, Im trying to be subtle about the workings lol....

But any help is appreciated.... x

The only think i can think of is that the tension on the elastic may not be tight enough. When the cigarette is "Vansihed" should be when making the last puch with the thumb . That way the specccys attention is on the nose bottom and not the hand as a whole

Try a sleight-of-hand Cig Up Nose vanish. Then you don't have to worry about flashing "anything" up the "secret place" and you can ditch the "thing" whenever you want to. I "sniff it up my nose" and then wipe a little with the other hand. All attention is on my ugly mug, so I can take the now-non-existent cigarette and drop it in a pocket. Pulls and gimmicks, for my performing style, are impractical and unnecessary. Learn to do the same effects without them and you can do them anytime, anywhere!

Mike Skutt's Quarter Up The Nose is a beautifully clean and visual variation.
