A quick Google reveals that silent fridges use 'absorption technology' (whatever that means!) instead of condenser motors.

I hope that revealing the secret of silent fridges isn't exposure!
Although sitting in one for a couple of hours might GIVE you exposure...

I don't get this at all.
Maybe I'm dumb, but can someone explain what it means?

did you know (a little off topic), if you can catch a fly under a beer glass, and put said beer glass in the fridge with the fly still inside, it will slow its reactions down so much, that you can tie a little lasso made of thread round its little neck, (it wont hurt it) you then blu tac the other end of the thread down to a table, and wait for it to defrost. It will then fly around in little circles. Its hilarious.

All the best,
Croz

Fridges make excelent sound proving boxes due to all that lovely insulation. Why not put your mini fridge inside a your kitchen fridge. Problem solved :D
No need to thank me... just glad to help
