I'm planning on buying an ITR soon. Any suggestions on which one to get? I'm currently leaning towards the Spider Pen. Any reasons I should get something else instead? Any input would be appreciated.

The Spider Pen. A reel disguised as a pen, and it allows you to walk up to 25 feet away from the airborn object! Yigal Mesika is the creator.

I have heard both many bad things and good things on the pen.

IE: It can break easily, the thread can snap (goes for most), battery needs to be replaced, can break easily.

I use ITR 2000, I have two of them. I havent had any problems with them. I am very happy with them, they work well, are silent, give good distance, easy to fix if it breaks, no batteries.

I'm rather partial to loops (Yigal Mesika again).

I guess it's safe to assume that Yigal Mesika specializes in this particular field...

I also use the ITR 2000; nice and small, very quiet, doesn't need batteries.

Who sell the ITR 2000 in the UK?

I'm looking for a decent ITR and the Spider pen seems overpriced for what it is. I'm quite interested in the one for £20 sold by Magic Box.
