I like scratching my ass, when I'm not sitting on it that is.

Only kidding, I actually climb mountains, run marathons, swim the channel, jump out of planes, fly jumbo jets, sail ocean liners, drive dragsters, ride horses, wrestle aligators, fight third world poverty, cure diseases, make toys for the orphanage, write hit records, direct oscar winning movies, build bridges, eat fruit pastels without chewing, ........

Oh and did I mention I'm six

Hobbies?

Postby Amanda Angeli » Jun 27th, '07, 03:11

Hello all,

So, hmm, hobbies. Well, I have lots if you want to think of them as activities I do, yet, they all end up being in my magic. I love chess and no sooner do I start thinking of the Sicilian Dragon and I start contemplating floating chess pieces and chess using Mentalism. I love fencing and that leads to a flying dueling scene in my Swamp Act. I love dominoes and tai chi and tai chi swords and that leads to my 1939 Flying Tigers Act where I am a female Flying Tigers pilot who's learned the secrets of youth while flying for China during the China Japan war and I end up with pai gow dominoes that change spots, bamboo linking rings, and a host of other Illusions such as swords to silks and a wonderful sword and basket illusion. I surf as many of you know so that ends up being a huge Surfing Act with some truly unprecidented Illusions, including, well, I shouldn't say just yet but oh wow it is totally bodacious!!!

And the list goes on. A love of gypsies and fortune telling leads to me making a full-sized fully functioning gypsy vardo for my Mentalist Act. The impossiblity of the Indian Rope trick leads me to designing an Illusion where it is indeed done outdoors, in the open air, with a rope tossed in the air and all the rest of the original tradition, well, except that I'm a girl of course.

So, do I have hobbies that are not magic related? I guess the answer is more or less no since pretty much everything I do can and often does turn into an Illusion or an act.

I guess magic is in my soul. Oh well, what's a girl to do but create. Hey, I just got an idea. I'd better write it down.

Love,

Amanda Angeli

Rugby, swimming, weightlifting and general gym activities. Another one I suppose could be a hobby and is becoming more recognised these days as one is- internet surfing.

Oh and I also like to do a bit of social networking and indulging in the delights of beer.

Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.

Bit harsh seeing hes from Indonesia.

I think your English is very good, better than quite a few English people here.

Sorry. I wan't making fun, I was just making a stupid joke. Yes your English is much better than a lot of people. And since I'm from America I only know 1 1/2 languages, but you probably know 3-4. We Americans are pretty "non-international".
