SAND CASTLES

Postby dat8962 » Aug 20th, '07, 18:46

I received this link in an email today and thought that many of you may enjoy the skill and dedication that must have gone into the creation of these  .

Enjoy

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

Wow.
But how?
Are they using some kind of binding agent or glue or something?

If they had been made in England I suppose that most of the binding agents would already be in the sea water :?

Jeez - I dread to think how long some of them must have taken to build  .

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

I saw an exhibition of sand castles on Brighton beach a few years ago, they're even more amazing when you see them close up.

When I was in Fuertaventura a few years ago, there was a guy who was on the beach every morning making elaborate sandcastles like these. One day, he took all day to make a beautiful recreation of Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry (in Harry Potter for those who haven't read the books!), complete with moat and a curled parchment-esque inscription bearing the name. Then a group of kids came and smashed it up in about 30 seconds. Needless to say he was devestated, but then spent the rest of the next day and some of the night rebuilding it all!! Now that's dedication, and he got a round of applause if I remember correctly.

James, 19, Lifelong student of magic and will carry on learning for the rest of my days if I'm a very lucky boy.

Any reason why those kids didn't get a round of beatings?
