It's the fact that some of the tricks look and feel exactly the same as on E.

Witness (card, sandwich bag), reminds me of indecent.

TNR - Torn and Restored (tear a card, restore it, visually), a lot like Daniel Garcia's Torn. I thought the whole point is to restore the spec's card and show that it was their card, not changing it and arousing suspicion. Weird.

Control - stopping your own pulse. I remember reading about this trick years ago. It was in a very amateur "magic" book and T11 are doing exactly what E are doing - passing off old stuff as "brand-new, ground-breaking" effects.

I do like most of the guys there though, DnD Buck/WHouchin/LeeAsher and the 1 on 1 section is a nice way to learn slights.

I would still rather get RRTCM over everything there.

The pulse stop has a different method than the one you probably read about. The **** under *** method is old, and isn't impromptu. Control is.

Personally, a mixture of techniques from the essay in the New Invocation and Luke Jermay's technique is the best.

Believe it or not, both my friend (who does magic) and I discovered the solution to Control after watching Stigmata about 2 years ago. We each came up with the idea independent of each other, I just didn't know that we were right until Control came out.

Because of that, I'm not feeling too comfortable with Houchin's method.

Currently Reading "House of Mystery" (Abbott, Teller), Tarbell, Everything I can on busking

Perhaps it's a knife in the back?
