It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

If he had a camera man with him, it could have been Dynamo: www.dynamoworld.com, he certainly has blue eyes and a norther accent.

He does one or two things with cards too!!

Actually I was thinking how tiny he must be. Just look at the dice he's holding.
He must have to use a mini pack of bikes

It all fits for Dynamo. Get your chequebook out, though. He'll not come cheaply.

Either that, or find a proper magician and get your money's worth...

After seeing him on Woss, and despite a well-reasoned counterblast by PM, I still think he's a guy who does tricks. Things might have changed in the interim, but he seriously needed some "presence" there.

I am still trying to think of another slim, dark, blue eyed northern magician...

Zenon was my first guess (I'd not have said Dynamo in a million years!)...

This is tricky...

I have to admit that my firs thought was Dynamo, hence the question on age and dress.

Where else would Dynamo hang out other than the South Bank, particularly when there's a camera involved?

If it is Dynamo then I'm with Seige - you could hire a far better magician and probably for far less money

I'm short, Northern and in London if that helps.

the rest doesn't fit though

Definitely sounds like dynamo to me. He fits the camera crew following him and cards.

i dread to think how much it is to hire him.

Sounds a bit like Pete Firman, although his eyes aren't blue upon checking photos (I don't just know that fact off the top of my head)

otherwise I'm stumped
