Okay, despite my hopes to wipe Blaine of the face of the earth, I suppose I have to give him some....c......cr...cre...having trouble writing word!!!!....credit. This guy gets terrific reactions of people and makes a huge impact on them. If you watch what they say afterwards, its stuff like "He's very spiritually gifted", "There's something not quite right about him". These people may believe they have just witnessed some kind of modern day Jesus. They have had a profound magicial experiance and he has perhaps now made them believe what we all want our audiances to believe, that there is such thing as magic, and we can prove it. He doesn't walk up to someone and say, do you want to see a trick, he just shows them it and makes it look as though it's a miracle.
As for his stunts, well thats a completely different kettle of fish, (where on earth did that saying come from?), I hate them, I think they're pointless.
Well, I've said my bit, and will now return to my underground lair.

It's my shed, that's where i am attempting to create my marrionette army.
It's quite a bit lower that the ground and I'm the only one who ever goes in there so it has become my underground lair where i plan out all my devious schemes!!!!!!!!!As for the one in my head, well, that information in top secret.

Yea Mistress I can understand your difficulty giving DB credit here because the atmosphere makes it difficult.

I for one feel that he gets a raw deal on magic boards because he isn't just a magician, he is an entertainer and magic is one of his tools.

Is he nuts? maybe and maybe not and that is I believe what he wants us to think, he likes the mystery and as far as I can see purposely cultivates it.

I take my hat off to the guy, well I would if I wore one and cry out against the Blaine Bashing.

I think ive cracked it, David Blane is going to do this dive of death and whilst free-falling he will bite the head of a chicken, Push a cigarette through a coin do the ambitious card routein to a passing seagul and when he is just baout 1-2 feet off the ground he will stop there and float fora few seconds then gently float onto the water, walk on water and collect his sponser fees, And you thought sitting in a plastic box was exciting...

That could be realy dangerous, Have you ever licked a metal lampost in the winter? You would have to run your gibletts under the hot tap to unstick them...Shudder!!!

Or do you think they will fill the river with cardboard boxes.

i heard he was going to jump parachuteless from a plane into a tupperware box full of very visiouse tetra fish, then be flash frozen for 24 hrs stil in box shipped to australia where several hungry tourists will be treeted to blaine popsicals.

hours later he will spring from there stomaches like thread like worms and reconstitute himself terminater style before levitateing onto a tall pole for 30 hours without food or water, then jump into a glass casket and be dutifully buried. R.I.P blaine we all love you.

Or he could just wait at the bottom of the ocean until the ice blocks melted and then bob back to the surface to the adoring cheers of the massed crowds. In his dreams.

No, enough, I'm being far too harsh on the guy so I'm going to follow Happy Toad's good example and stop. Again. Until it all gets too much and I can't resist!
