Hello from Cambridge, UK

Hi guys

I post as Jordan C but when I start performing properly I will use the stage name Jordan Alexander.

I'm 29 and from Cambridge England. Naturally I've loved magic since I can remember loving anything although it's only in the last 18 months that I've really developed this love into a study of the art.

Most of the tricks I own are close up as initially my magic was just for my daughter and for friends but now my interest in magic is burgeoning and I'm starting to look at how to make money from magic. I also have a couple of ideas for new tricks and I'm currently looking for someone I can trust to help me develop these ideas further.

Until a year ago I was heavily involved in the club industry in my local area within the Hard Dance genre working as a DJ and promoter. I became increasingly bored with the music and the scene (age creeping in I think! ) and took to doing walkarounds with some of my close up tricks in the clubs where I had gigs as a DJ. The looks of sheer and genuine astonishment on the club goers has me completely hooked now on magic. I want to learn as much as I can and develop my own tricks as stated so that I can give something back to an art form that has given me so much pleasure over the years.

Give me a few years and you'll be seeing and hearing of my name quite often. I've quit the club scene and retired as a DJ but the desire to be a performer is still within me and Magic is my new DJ'ing!

well for one i'd like to say welcome to the board... and as for someone to help with ideas we have members of the forum who have advertising experience, others with a practical frame of mind and even one or two inventors of published effects... im sure we can find someone to help

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. - Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989..
