What kind of false shuffle is this?

I agree. Ricky Jay is a superb cardician but I believe that someone in post production (i.e. not Mr Jay) has inserted his table shuffles at the start of the clip. Couple of things note:
- close up table is several shades lighter and greener than the long shot (means they've moved the yellow stage lights further back for the long shot, or it's a completely different cut)
- table spread is right to left, after the cut Ricky is clearly turned to the left taking off the top 5 cards (it's cut to appear seamless which is suspicious)
- Lastly Ricky fans during the shuffle and the few cards you can see aren't in a faro style cyclic order.

Sorry to burst a few bubbles there but I've been hunting around trying to put a name to the table riffle shuffle used by Darwin Ortiz or Guy Hollingsworth. Any thoughts?
