I know a guy who calls himself a magician. To protect him I'll call him John.

That's not his real name of course, since his real name is Andrew Mackenzie.

The most complicated sleight I have ever seen him use was the cross cut force. Hardly a sleight.

And yet he can keep a small bar audience entertained for ages. I don't suppose he'd ever get into the Magic Circle but I'm positive he'd give a few of them a run for their money in terms of magic and entertainment.

My point? Magicians are actors. Very good ones, in some cases. I couldn't believe it when I read how many of the old Hollywood actors were also magicians.

**Andyregs, I'd love to see smacked up scallies doing magic.

Hey! I'm no magic dealer ;) I'm just a small-fry 'chancer' who sells a bit of magic kit ;)

Arent theives kinda like actors in that they have a "front" to fool you into thinking their nice and then they rob you.
Well I guess thats only pickpokets I dont think burglars would be very good.
I mean from seeing pickpockets in paris, their physicla misdirection is fantastic altho they are helped by the number of people around them.

This is just too weird a concept. Thieves or actors???? I think you've all been smoking something and not passing it on to me.

The Magician Thief sounds kind of sexy. What can I say. As an Illusionist, I must say that I could think of many many ways to use Illusions in the art of say, cat burglary, for instance. Now then, as for the perfect outfit, hmmm...

Love,

Amanda Angeli

How about the Cat woman oufit that Holley Berry wore? I probably didn't spell that right. I didn't care for the movie... but the outfit, now that's another story.
