I once had a love affair just like Casablanca. With out the nazi's, Marocco, a bar ...actually nothing like Casablanca.

I have never cried or shed a tear at a film.

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

Although the video for Johnny Cash's version of hurt all ways makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up.

One last point about Casablanca, did you know that Dooley Wilson, the guy who played Sam the piano player, couldn't play the piano? He was actually a drummer and he had to pretend to play while the real pianist played 'As time goes by' off to one side of the set. OK, this ol' saddo is going back to sleep.....

For some reason, that seems worth knowing...

And I thought I knew a lot about it, too. You wore blue, the Germans wore grey...

pretty much the final scene of withnail and I, with withnail recanting shakespeare to the wolves in hyde park, secretly revealing that he was a mighty fine actor, but was too much of a drunken fool and a coward to actually go and do it...

ooh the original hunchback film, where he says to ezmeralda "i never knew i was so ugly until i saw how beautiful you are..."

and yeah, Life is Beautiful, dad on toast that is, uber dad behaviour...

elephant man too...when he has his final sleep...aaawwww....bless his perfectly formed genitalia...

i think that's it? other than that, heart of stone...

Oh God, that's heartbreaking stuff. In the script, the direction reads: "The wolves are unimpressed."

Genius. I still really hope they do a sequel.

its strange, i've had two really good mates, one i've known for nearly 20 years now, and you can see really good writing and acting if it reflects your own friendships i reckon...withnail and i, and the series Game On, if you were to mix that, and make it far less exciting, that would be me and me best mate...

do you remember the name of the pub they happen upon, what it was called in the screenplay - the Crow and *something* teehee...

oh though its a fairly rubbish film, the remake of Frankenstein with DeNiro, just the whole vengeful child thing...that was kinda sad in lots of ways...

Ooo Jack and Mrs Doubtfire. It's something about Robin Williams... reminds me LOADS of my dad....

I thought Mrs Doubtfire was meant to be funny though...

Have to agree there, it's one of the most moving music videos you'll come across.

It's amazing to experience it played live (Reznor) - to hear a good few thousand voices all singing along and all appreciating its relevance. Beautiful.

I'm terrible with any films, Ghost, Titanic anything with a tearful ending and I'm balling it.

Typical girl. I hated ghost, and titanic was too long.
